Equity Lodha said both Chennai and Rajasthan were similarly at issue for letting Meiyappan and Kundra go ahead with their degenerate exercises and never answering to the BCCI's hostile to defilement unit. He plainly said that Meiyappan had the endowments of India Cements, the onwer of CSK. Srinivasan is the Managing Director of India Cements.

"The virtue of the diversion has been influenced by the activities of India Cements and CSK. Fans have been deceived," said Lodha at a pressed media meeting.
