Harbhajan singh, born on 3 july, 1980, is one of india's greatest off-spinners. Here are some Harbhajan's finnest battling moments.

1. Maiden Test ton — 115 vs New Zealand, 1st Test at Ahmedabad, 2010


India had managed a slender 28-run lead against New Zealand going into the second innings on Day Four, Harbhajan and Laxman stitched together a 163-run stand, consuming around 55 overs.

2.  An encore to follow the ton — 111 not out vs New Zealand, 2nd Test at Hyderabad, 2010


Harbhajan’s confidence had grown following that fighting maiden ton. His 111 not out came off only 116 balls with seven fours and seven sixes, this match ended in draw.

3.  So near, yet so far — 49 vs Australia, 1st ODI at Vadodra, 2009


Chasing 293 against an attack comprising Brett Lee, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Johnson and Shane Watson. India were reduced to 201 for seven in the 40th over. With victory a distant dream, Praveen Kumar and Harbhajan started fighting , giving Australia a bit of a scare.
