Australia to host India for ODI, T20 series in January 2016 :
India will be heading down under for a restricted overs visit including 5 ODIs and 3 T20s.
Cricket Australia said it needed to expand on the achievement of the World Cup co-facilitated with New Zealand not long ago when previous champions India lost to Australia in the semi-last in Sydney .
The last time the two groups met was in the World Cup Semifinal which was won by Australia easily by 95 runs.
The T20s which will end up being vital for both sides in front of the World T20 in India two months after the fact will start instantly after the last ODI. Without precedent for a long time, the Sydney Cricket Ground will be facilitating a T20 worldwide.
