India tour of Zimbabwe 2015 schedule : 3 ODIs & 2 T20s

Indian cricket team visit Zimbabwe for a short series after Bangladesh tour in July 2015. The Indian team is scheduled to play 3 ODIs and 2 T20s in Zimbabwe, Harare.

India are going into the series, with Ajinkya Rahane driving the team for the first time in his career. MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and others have been refreshed after a long season of cricket. Zimbabwe then again will go into this match with a full-quality squad and will hope to bring about a surprise.

Everyone's eyes on Caption Rahane.

Rahane 'the batsman' will be on focus more than Rahane 'the captain' . nobody anticipated that him would lead the side too. It all happened too early for Rahane, yet more than his authority abilities, his bat will be the focal point. If he can make use of the fielding restrictions and score freely (and score big), then we might see Rohit in the middle order in the future.

India have a couple of new faces in the side this time. They have included fast bowler Sandeep Sharma and batsman Manish Pandey to make his debut in Zimbabwe series after a long gap of 6 years.
