Aston Villa Deal Done : Villa have signed Jordan Veretout for £7m on 5-year deal

Aston Villa have completed the marking of FC Nantes midfielder Jordan Veretout.
The deal, supposed to be for something in the €10 million range, implies that Aston Villa now can put out a turn focal midfield of Idrissa Gueye and Veretout. Given the way that Gueye is more protectively minded and Veretout needs to attack (however both are proficient box-to-box sorts), this appears to imply that Sherwood has discovered both his Fabian Delph and Tom Cleverley substitutions.
Veretout, who has marked a five-year contract, is a pacy midfielder who is an imaginative resource and why should apprehensive go in on objective. He's got potential in spades, and despite the fact that he has some unpleasant edges he could be a player that Villa can either construct around or pivot and offer for a major benefit.
On the off chance that different bits of gossip are to be believed, this could be only one (after Jordan Ayew and Jose Angel Crespo) of five signings this week. One or both of Emmanuel Adebayor and Rudy Gestede are relied upon to join the Villa striker corps soon as well.
