Kieftenbeld Deal Done : Birmingham City have signed Maikel Kieftenbeld on a 3-year deal


Birmingham City have affirmed by means of their official site that they have marked Dutch midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld.
The 25-year-old joins Gary Rowett's side on a three-year deal and is the fifth player to get through the entryways at St.Andrews this summer after the landings of goalkeeping couple Tomasz Kuszczak and Adam Legzdins, and also Jacques Maghoma and Alex Jones.
The midfielder is the second player in a matter of weeks leaving FC Groningen for the Championship, taking after the landing of Tjaronn Chery at Queens Park Rangers.
Birmingham City will be seeking after a respectable season after what was a blended crusade for Rowett's side last season, with any semblance of Clayton Donaldson marking another arrangement at the club, Birmingham may be an astonishment contender for a play-off position in the association.
The expansion of Kieftenbeld could be a keen expansion for the club however having not carried out his specialty in the Sky Bet Championship, it may set aside sooner or later for him to adjust to the rigors and requests of the second level of English football.
