Liverpool Transfer News : Liverpool accept West Brom £3m bid for Rickie Lambert


Liverpool have accepted a bid from West Bromwich Albion for Rickie Lambert as Brendan Rodgers hopes to trim his squad in front of the new Premier League season.
Lambert is required to end up Tony Pulis' third summer signing after the Anfield club concurred an expense accepted to be just shy of £3m for the 33-year-old. The striker has been given permission to experience a medicinal at The Hawthorns and will join James Chester and James McClean as the new faces in the Albion squad if he concur individual terms.
Liverpool marked their previous institute player for £4.5m from Southampton the previous summer yet his fantasy return did not emerge with chances constrained in Rodgers' group. He made just 12 begins in all rivalries for Liverpool, seven in the Premier League, and scored a sum of three goals.
