Latest transfer news for Arsenal FC, REAL MADRID to accept £48million bid from Arsenal for striker Karim Benzema, according to Rodney Marsh.
On Karim Benzema transfer, Marsh said: “I had a phone call from a friend of mine, and he said that he believes Arsenal £48million bid have been accepted for Benzema by Real madrid. A big show will come on Saturday when Real madrid begin their La Liga campaign on Sunday against Sporting Gijon.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is waiting to see whether Benzema is ready to come into position in Real's first few games to gauge what sort of an offer the club should be making.It was a trick Arsenal employed successfully while signing Mesut Ozil two years ago, and by Manchester United when signing Angel di Maria last year.
Real Madrid however just have two matches before the exchange window closes, so Wenger and the club will need to move quick to get their man, on the off chance that they have not had an offered acknowledged as of now.
