Louis van Gaal must buy top-class striker this summer says Chris Waddle

Manchester United need to sign a "top-class striker" to lead their attack set up of Wayne Rooney, as indicated by previous England winger Chris Waddle.
Waddle said: "United are inadequate with regards to presence, somebody in advance who can control the game and score goals. He included: "Rooney doesn't appear to have some person he can play with and that is the reason they have to purchase a top-class number nine for him to play behind."
Memphis Depay, who played on the left wing, scored two of United's three goals against Brugge, with midfielder Marouane Fellaini, who went ahead for Rooney, including a third.
Louis van Gaal asserted last season that United had not tested for the Premier League title on the grounds that they did not have a 20-goals striker.
From that point forward, the Dutchman has permitted Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao to leave and has not marked a substitution, in spite of the fact that Javier Hernandez has come back from an advance spell at Real Madrid.
Skipper Rooney has played as United's most progressive player in their initial three amusements this season.
The England international, 29, extended his goalless keep running for his club to nine matches before being supplanted by Fellaini, who headed United's last objective in their play-off first-leg win over Brugge on Tuesday.
Waddle included: "right now Rooney is deficient with regards to certainty. He is segregated and doesn't look made in front out of goal.
"He is physical, he's got great pace and an extraordinary scope of passes, which is the reason he's best played behind the striker.
"Van Gaal continues saying he's got four middle advances and needn't bother with another. I believe he's got four number 10s. I don't thoroughly consider he's got an and-out number nine."
